Do you have a positive, inspiring story to share? Have you overcome obstacles in life? The basis of our conference is to uplift youth and help them move forward in a good way. To have them leave our conference feeling inspired with hope for the future!
Application to facilitate for the 2019 conference is NOW open! DEADLINE Friday November 2, 2018. Conference date is March 15-16, 2019 in Grande Prairie, Alberta at the Grande Prairie Regional College. This conference is hosted by the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre. The facilitator selection committee is comprised of local Indigenous youth from the Grande Prairie area. Together, they will work as a team to select 14 dynamic and engaging facilitators to make up the Spirit Seekers team of speakers. They will look at the pool of individuals and select based on topics that are important to them as youth.
Travel days are Friday March 15 and Sunday March 17. We require four of the same workshops to be delivered concurrently (with the other workshops) during the day, each are one hour in length. Workshops are scheduled for Saturday March 16 at 9:15 am, 10:30 am, 1:00 pm and 2:15 pm. There is a 15 minute break in between and one hour for lunch. Breakfast, lunch and supper are provided to the facilitator on Saturday March 16, 2019.

- Culture: hunting, snowshoeing, Arctic games, drumming, pow wow dancing, jigging, traditional medicines
- Healthy Relationships
- Mental Health
- Grief & loss
- Drug/Alcohol awareness
